I express post Australia-wide each Monday in Spring, in meticulously-packed Eggspress Safe foam labelled “fragile”. (Let me know if you’d rather no fragile sticker.)

Due to the vagaries of Australia Post, transporting fertile hatching eggs carries inherent risks, including breakage, detached or damaged air cells and reduced hatchability.

I take all reasonable care in selecting and packing eggs for transport, but these risks cannot be eliminated once eggs enter the postal system.

Please do not purchase posted hatching eggs unless you understand and accept these risks.

While I always conduct test hatches prior to releasing eggs, I do not guarantee that fertile eggs will develop or hatch, and no particular hatch rate is guaranteed.

Successful hatching depends on many factors including the incubator, ambient conditions in the room, the hatcher’s experience level etc.

Hatch rates may vary anywhere from 0 to 100 per cent, with the reality being somewhere in between.

I do not offer refunds or replacement eggs solely because eggs fail to develop or hatch.
