Welcome to Lay Me A Rainbow, located in Victoria’s Valley of a Thousand Hills, one hour 15 minutes north of Melbourne.
Purebred heritage chickens that lay eggs of exquisite colour and texture are our speciality.
From the rich russet tones of a Marans egg to the powder blues of a Cream Legbar, it’s a heady mix.
Our flock of coloured layers free ranges within electric fences on more than 200 acres of undulating country patrolled by a Maremma livestock guardian dog.
Birds are bred rigorously to standard, with equal emphasis on the beauty of the chicken and the egg.
